Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrician with EV charging experience to train on commercial EV chargers and develop technical capabilities. This permanent role includes UK-wide site travel with overnight stays, residential installs (about 2 per day), and progression into higher-level EV charging work.

You will be supported with training, enjoy a structured path, and join a growing EV charging specialist delivering domestic and commercial installs with performance-based overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• 18th Edition, 2391 and ECS Gold Card held.
• Experience installing or working on EV chargers (domestic or commercial).

Are you a qualified Electrician with EV charging experience looking to step into a role that will train you up on commercial EV chargers and develop your technical capability long term?

On offer is a permanent position with a growing EV charging specialist where you'll be supported properly, kept busy with consistent work, and given clear scope to move into more complex commercial installs as you progress.

This company completes a high volume of installs each month across domestic and commercial sites, alongside maintenance and commissioning work. Following new tender wins and continued growth, they are now looking to add an additional EV Installer to their team.

You will cover UK-wide sites with overnight stays as required, completing residential installs (typically 2 per day) and working to schedules managed via an app, with occasional last-minute changes to meet client needs.

This role would suit an EV Installer / Electrician looking for a long-term position with strong support, commercial upskilling, and the chance to develop into higher-level EV charging work.

The Role:

• Install and maintain EV chargers across domestic and commercial sites
• UK-wide travel with overnight stays as required
• Residential installs typically 2 per day; work scheduled via an app
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours (plus travel time); no weekends
• Overtime available and performance-based bonus potential

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
