Job summary

Envevo Ltd is seeking an Electrical Field Service Engineer to commission, maintain and repair AC chargers, Rapid DC, Ultra and HPC EV charging stations across the UK. The role requires an independent, safety-conscious engineer with an electrical background to ensure peak performance on-site.

You will handle fault-finding, firmware updates, and component replacements while maintaining thorough service records and adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification is required.
• 2+ years field-based electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with EV charging, HPC chargers and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, configuring and testing AC, DC HPC charging stations.
• Planned preventative maintenance and fault-finding.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software issues on-site.
• Firmware updates, calibration and system optimisation.
• Replace faulty components per manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide on-site technical support and document service records.
