EV Charging Field Engineer - Onsite Commissioning & Support

Zusammenfassung

VEV is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and support electric vehicle charging infrastructure across customer sites and our offices. Working from home with regular site visits, you will ensure safe operation and high service standards while representing the VEV brand.

You will perform fault response, site surveys, commissioning, and maintenance coordination, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable energy solutions for fleet electrification.

Qualifikationen

• Safety‑driven and customer focused with welfare as a standard.
• Industry certifications and wiring standards knowledge required.
• Experience with EV charging, grid connections, and renewables desirable.

Aufgaben

• Respond to fault callouts and provide reactive and proactive resolution.
• Commissioning at site to enable chargers, solar PV, and BESS systems.
• Conduct site surveys and produce accurate reports back to team.
• Oversee installation of electrical systems with safety and regs compliance.
• Perform electrical assessments and evaluate risks in projects.
• Define charger testing procedures and real‑world validation.
• Support preventive maintenance and improve charger uptime.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
• Assist with procurement of electrical components and equipment.
• Recommend improvements based on fault data and experience.
• Produce training manuals for handover and support teams.
• Train care team for L1 to L3 support.
