Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis for our client based in Llanelli. The role focuses on development, launch, optimization and continuous improvement of EV battery remanufacturing operations.

You will work with OEM teams to drive process development, capital equipment implementation and safety and quality improvements. The successful candidate will lead manufacturing process development, support new product introductions, and implement Lean practices to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in high-volume environments (auto/battery/electronics).
Experience developing PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
Strong Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for EV battery disassembly and remanufacturing.
Support OEM program launches from concept through full production.
Create and maintain process documentation (PFMEA, control plans, flow diagrams, SOPs).
Drive process controls to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
Provide daily technical support to production, quality, maintenance.
