Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Llanelli to support EV battery remanufacturing operations. The role covers disassembly, energy discharge, testing, remanufacturing, repair, and material recovery with a focus on safety and scalability.

You will own process development, capital equipment implementation, and continuous improvement across manufacturing activities while collaborating with Operations, Quality, and OEM teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive, battery, remanufacturing, or high-volume environments.
• Experience developing PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions.
• Experience supporting new product launches, process industrialization, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Strong Lean and structured problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for EV battery disassembly, testing, remanufacturing, and material recovery.
• Support OEM program launches from concept through full production.
• Create and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.
• Establish process controls to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Provide daily technical support to production, quality, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to raise FPY and productivity.
