Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover is seeking a Battery Production Manager in Wolverhampton to lead large, multi‑shift battery manufacturing operations. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost while coaching extensive production teams and pushing continuous improvement across frames welding and battery assembly lines.

You will apply lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies, interpret KPIs, collaborate with engineering and maintenance, and nurture a culture of high performance and development within

Qualifications

• Leading large, multi-shift manufacturing teams.
• Applying lean manufacturing principles to operational performance.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding quality systems and defect reduction strategies.
• Interpreting production data and KPIs to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead battery manufacturing operations across multiple production areas.
• Coach and develop large production teams for high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve yield, throughput and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain and quality teams on new equipment and process changes.
• Monitor performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost and people objectives.
