Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator for Europe to manage European road freight and international movements from order to delivery. The role requires coordinating with customers, hauliers and suppliers to meet requirements and timelines.

You will input orders, coordinate collections, monitor progress and provide updates while maintaining compliance with ADR and documentation standards. The position is office-based in Burton-on-Trent.

Qualifications

• Experience within European transport, road freight, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple transport movements simultaneously.
• Experience using transport management systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate European road freight movements from order through to delivery.
• Receive customer orders via telephone, email, transport portals and other communication methods.
• Accurately input and manage transport orders using the Tra+ operating system.
• Match customer requirements with appropriate transport solutions and approved suppliers.
• Arrange and coordinate collections and deliveries across the European transport network.
• Liaise with hauliers, freight partners, customers and suppliers throughout the transport process.
• Monitor transport movements and provide regular updates to customers.
• Manage delays, issues and changes quickly and effectively.
• Ensure all transport requirements are fully understood and communicated.
