Job Description:

Join our European Finance team in Media City, Manchester, as a European Statutory Reporting Accountant. This role offers a hybrid working schedule, great benefits, and the chance to work with a global team. You will be based in Media City, Manchester, working in the office 2-3 days a week.

Your responsibilities include building relationships with audit teams, reviewing local financial statements, analyzing variances, and presenting findings to Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate: Work with local accounting advisors to understand statutory adjustments under local GAAP versus US GAAP and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Lead: Ensure final financial statements are approved and filed according to local laws. Lead ad hoc tasks and projects.
• Pro-Active: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and filings, working with professional service providers and auditors.
• Communicate: Act as the main contact to interpret and implement new accounting standards and complex accounting issues.
• Initiative: Proactively identify and resolve issues, collaborating across teams and with external partners.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top 10 practice background.
• Experience with UK GAAP; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with external audits and IFRS / FRS 102 standards.
• Project management skills; experience with US multinationals is beneficial.
