Autoscribe Informatics offers a wide portfolio of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for various industries worldwide, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biobanking, veterinary, and more.

Our configurable LIMS help customers manage laboratory workflows efficiently. We also provide dynamic reporting, barcoding capabilities, and regulatory compliance features to add further value to our solutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a European Sales Manager at Autoscribe Informatics, excluding the United Kingdom and Ireland. The role involves managing business development and sales activities in the European market, including identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The successful Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies, conduct product demonstrations, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for business development and sales in Europe for all Autoscribe and Xybion products.
  2. Build and manage a sales team in the European territory, as appropriate.
  3. Achieve yearly sales order targets as per the approved budget.
  4. Create an annual sales plan for the European territory.
  5. Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer contacts to meet business targets, managing time and productivity effectively.
  6. Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers to optimize service, growth, and satisfaction.
  7. Handle sales inquiries professionally and promptly.
  8. Use in-house tools to keep customer and prospect information current.
  9. Identify or propose potential business deals by contacting partners and exploring opportunities.
  10. Build relationships, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments to initiate sales processes.
  11. Demonstrate Autoscribe software solutions and support the sales department in creating tailored demo systems.
  12. Recommend Xybion products to existing and new customers as appropriate.
  13. Contribute to closing deals by overcoming objections, coordinating requirements, and negotiating contracts.
  14. Attend exhibitions and conferences as required.
  15. Assist in marketing campaign ideas and new product planning.
  16. Produce monthly highlight reports for UK management.
Initial Objectives

Learn the Autoscribe and Xybion product portfolio, with extensive knowledge of Xybion LIMS for demonstrations and product recommendations.

Build relationships with existing customers and develop a sales pipeline in the European territory.

Identify improvements for demo systems and create a sales plan for 2025-2026, to be presented by January 2025.

Experience and Skills
  • Sales experience in software or technology industries.
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or related products.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting revenue.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
