Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to strengthen existing payment services and drive new initiatives for Apple's digital merchants in Europe.

The role focuses on navigating a high-change environment to build the next generation of payment experiences for Apple’s digital merchants. You will be the regional go-to for payments matters, coordinating with partners and internal teams to adapt global strategy to local needs, while driving performance improvements and market

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of EU/UK payment landscape.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with payment providers, banks, networks.
• Experience driving card payments performance and conversions through analysis.
• Experience launching new payment methods and services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional go-to for payments matters and execution with partners in Europe.
• Monitor changes in payments landscape and adapt global strategy to local needs.
• Collaborate to identify improvements in payment performance with internal and external partners.
• Develop relationships with payment providers and banks' risk/payments teams.
• Contribute to EU product strategy and anticipate needs and opportunities.
• Support GTM strategies across Europe for seamless launches and adoption.
• Manage local projects end-to-end with regular leadership updates.
• Assess regulatory impacts and create action plans to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
• Identify mid-to-long term opportunities to improve how customers pay.
