Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Compliance Manager for European Logistics to lead compliance strategy and governance across multiple sites in Europe, including 3PL partners. The role involves embedding best-in-class practices, risk management, business continuity, and audit readiness to protect Diageo's reputation and drive operational excellence.

The role may be based in Runcorn or Dublin, with travel to the alternate site and to 3PL locations as required.

Qualifications

• Experience within logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environments, ideally within FMCG or the beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, governance systems, regulatory requirements and risk management methodologies.
• Proven experience delivering strategy, driving operational improvements, managing audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience working across complex stakeholder groups, with the ability to influence and deliver outcomes within a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Compliance Plan covering Quality & Food Safety, Business Risk, Environmental Standards, Regulatory Compliance and Governance requirements.
• Ensure consistent compliance standards are embedded across European logistics operations and third-party logistics partners.
• Establish governance processes that monitor compliance performance, drive accountability and support effective decision-making.
• Act as the subject matter expert for compliance, governance and risk management across the Primary Logistics network.
• Lead risk-based audits to assess compliance and the effectiveness of internal controls.
