Are you an ambitious and driven European Carrier Manager who is looking for a new challenge or next step in their career? If so then this could be the role for you. We are looking for someone to join the business not only to grow and develop our carrier base but to also lead and develop the existing team.

We are looking for someone to bring their external knowledge and ideas to our existing carrier management set-up. To use their existing knowledge to engage with a wider range of carriers whilst also enhancing how we manage and interact with them on a daily basis.

The other exciting element of the role will be to play a pivotal role in the management, growth and development of the existing carrier team. Again using their knowledge and experience to help develop the teams skills and understanding of carrier management. Working alongside the existing management team to shape the department moving forward.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an EU Carrier Manager located in our Head office in Preston. This exciting opportunity will be working within our fast growing European team.

The Carrier Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of carrier partnerships; developing relationships with existing carriers as well as engaging with new carriers in order to service our key markets. They will work alongside out operations team to maintain and grow our high service levels to our customers.

Experience

• Proven track record in a carrier management role
• Have been operating in a carrier facing role for the last 2-3 years minimum
• A strong knowledge of UK Imports and Exports by road
• Knowledge of shipping routes in and out of the UK
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

Additional Language skills would be advantageous.

Salary £35,000-65,000 D.O.E
