Job summary

VGS is seeking a Solutions Support Engineer in Europe to serve as the technical front door for EU prospects and customers. You will scope use cases, map payment flows, and design solutions with EU Sales, then provide ongoing technical support through go-live.

This growth role targets senior support, integration, or solutions engineers who want to move upstream and help shape Europe‑wide processes. You will work closely with the EU team, hand over approved designs to Implementation, and stay

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, integration, or solutions engineering.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles at senior/lead level.
• Background at merchant, PSP, processor, or payment infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale card migrations and multi-PSP strategies.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts and create diagrams.
• Comfort with HTTP, REST APIs, and network debugging.
• English at C1 or above.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery with EU prospects and Sales to clarify goals.
• Map payment flows across merchants, PSPs, processors, and wallets.
• Architect solutions using vaulting, tokenization, Network and Agentic Tokens.
• Guide customers on security best practices and PCI scope reduction.
• Create diagrams, proposals, demos, and PoCs; support RFIs and security reviews.
• Back up EU teams in conversations needing solutions depth.
• Coordinate with US Solutions team to align patterns and enable playbooks.
• Produce detailed handoffs to Implementation with architecture and testing.
• Serve as escalation point for complex customer setups.
• Turn feedback into product roadmap inputs.
