Job summary

ASM Technologies Limited, based in Northwich, is seeking an organised Order Fulfilment Specialist to join the Operations team. You will manage customer orders from receipt to delivery across our European customer base, ensuring every order is processed accurately, efficiently and on time.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams to keep orders moving, resolve issues proactively and deliver an exceptional customer experience, with fluency in English and French essential and German

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French (essential).
• German language skills desirable.
• Experience in order fulfilment, customer service, supply chain, purchasing or a similar operational role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using ERP, CRM or order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders throughout the full order lifecycle, from receipt to delivery.
• Expedite purchase orders with suppliers and proactively follow up on outstanding orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain updates and delivery dates.
• Monitor supplier commitments and escalate potential delays as needed.
• Provide customers and internal teams with accurate order updates and delivery estimates.
• Respond to enquiries and resolve order or delivery issues promptly.
• Manage Proof of Delivery documentation and shipment tracking.
• Process goods receipts and customer invoices in the ERP system.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and support month-end invoicing.
• Monitor automated order workflows and resolve system exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records for customers, suppliers and orders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

About The Role

At ASM, we’re looking for an organised and customer-focused Order Fulfilment Specialist to join our Operations team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery across our European customer base, ensuring every order is processed accurately, efficiently and on time. You’ll work closely with suppliers, customers and internal teams to keep orders moving, resolve issues proactively and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

At this role supports our European customers and suppliers, fluency in both French and English is essential, with German language skills highly desirable.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing customer orders throughout the full order lifecycle, from receipt to delivery.
• Expediting purchase orders with suppliers and proactively following up on outstanding orders.
• Liaising with suppliers via phone, email and online portals to obtain order updates and expected delivery dates.
• Monitoring supplier commitments and escalating potential delays where necessary.
• Providing customers and internal teams with accurate order updates and estimated delivery dates.
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving delivery or order-related issues promptly.
• Managing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and shipment tracking.
• Processing goods receipts and customer invoices accurately within the ERP system.
• Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supporting month-end invoicing activities.
• Monitoring automated order processing workflows and resolving system exceptions where required.
• Maintaining accurate customer, supplier and order records while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve processes, automation and operational efficiency.

About You

You’ll Ideally Have

Fluent in English and French language skills (essential).

• German language skills (desirable).
• Previous experience in order fulfilment, customer service, supply chain, purchasing or a similar operational role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience using ERP, CRM or order management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
