Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Data Director for EU expansion to lead a full-stack data team and shape product strategy as Monzo grows across Europe. You will own the learning loops, frame questions, and build systems to answer them in close partnership with Finance and ExCo.

You will guide data strategy, metrics, and experiments across new markets, driving commercial growth while aligning with product, engineering, and design teams.

Qualifications

• Strategic data leader with director-level experience.
• Experience scaling data functions in new markets or product lines.
• Ability to set metrics and targets and partner with Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the EU expansion learning loop and co-own product development with EU Leadership, Product, and Engineering.
• Shape product and commercial strategy for new European markets.
• Define data strategy, events, metrics, experiments, and forecasts for new markets.
