Job summary

Facades Talent Group is seeking an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join our specialist facade and remediation team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for facade remediation, recladding and building envelope projects, reviewing drawings, specs and bills of quantities to ensure accuracy.

• Previous experience as Estimator or Senior Estimator in facade, cladding or building envelope sector.
• Knowledge of facade remediation and recladding projects.
• Experience preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction costs.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fa ade and remediation projects, working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams to support successful tender submissions.

The position is suited to an Estimator looking to develop their career or an established Senior Estimator capable of taking ownership of complex tenders and contributing to the wider pre-construction strategy.

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience working as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the fa ades, cladding or building envelope sector.

• Demonstrable knowledge of fa ade remediation and recladding projects is essential.

• Experience preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of construction costs.

• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience working for a specialist fa ade or remediation contractor.

• Knowledge of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, glazing and other fa ade systems.

• Experience pricing occupied-building remediation or high-rise recladding projects.

• Familiarity with relevant building safety requirements and current industry standards.
