Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Estimator for a hybrid role in Warrington, with Birmingham office option. You will price work across retrofit and refurbishment projects, prepare BOQs, and coordinate with supply chain partners and clients to submit competitive tenders.

The role covers reading drawings, preparing cost plans, evaluating subcontractor quotes, and identifying value engineering opportunities while supporting two-stage tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating and pricing tenders.
• Ability to prepare detailed BOQs and cost plans.
• Strong understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Experience with refurbishment, retrofit or building projects.
• Knowledge of two-stage tender processes.
• Main contractor background preferred; junior applicants welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Produce accurate quotations, estimates and pricing proposals.
• Manage enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate supply chain returns and analyse costs.
• Supporting two-stage tender submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
