Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Nottingham-based demolition and strip-out division. You will prepare estimates, review tenders, and produce take-offs for projects ranging from small works to around £1m, with a Midlands-focused nationwide remit.

Reporting to the commercial team, you will liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, assess costs and risks, and support tender submissions to help win new work across industrial, commercial and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within demolition is highly desirable.
• Experience within strip-out, enabling works or a related construction sector will be considered.
• Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and associated costs.
• Ability to interpret drawings and project specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
• Ideally based within commuting distance of Nottingham.

Responsibilities
