We are seeking a Building Estimator based in Lympne, Kent.

The role includes:

• Analyzing tender documents and client requirements.
• Preparing accurate BOQ for pricing, based on CESSM 3, Highways Method of Measurement, or SMM7.
• Costing traditional and design-build contracts.
• Preparing material and sub-contractor enquiry documents.
• Conducting site visits and incorporating findings into tender pricing.
• Assessing and updating rates and prices with quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Producing competitive commercial submissions for review and approval.
• Understanding NEC3 and JCT contracts, HSQE legislation, and construction methods.
• Participating in pre and post tender meetings.
• Knowledge of building materials and plant requirements.

Candidate requirements:

• At least 3 years of estimating experience.
• Experience with commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
