We have an opportunity for a Building Estimator to join our team based out of Lympne, Kent.

The role includes:

• Analyzing tender documentation and capturing client requirements.
• Producing accurate BOQ for pricing, reflecting client requirements, with knowledge of CESSM 3, Highways Method of Measurement, or SMM7.
• Costing traditional and design-build contracts.
• Preparing material and sub-contractor enquiry documents.
• Carrying out site visits, assimilating information, and considering it in tender pricing.
• Assessing rates and prices, creating new or inserting from quotes.
• Producing competitive commercial submissions for review and approval.
• Having working knowledge of NEC3 and JCT Conditions of Contract, HSQE legislation, and construction techniques.
• Attending pre and post tender meetings.
• Understanding building materials and plant requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 3 years as an estimator.
• Experience in commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and reasoning skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Numeracy and ability to manipulate numerical data accurately.
• Confidence and resourcefulness.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Collaborative approach to ensure quality submissions.
