Job summary

Foyne Jones is seeking an Estimator to join our civil engineering team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on pricing earthworks, civils and enabling works projects, while reviewing drawings and specifications to prepare accurate tenders.

You will back the commercial team to drive successful project wins, with a clear path for career development. The ideal candidate has 3+ years' estimating experience in earthworks or civils and strong MS Office skills; knowledge of AI tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' estimating experience, preferably in earthworks/civils or enabling works.
• Strong pricing and tendering knowledge; demolition experience is a bonus.
• Excellent MS Office skills; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Price earthworks, civils and enabling works projects.
• Review drawings, specs and requirements to produce accurate tenders.
• Support the commercial team and help secure project wins.

Job description

We're working with an established and growing business within the civil engineering, earthworks and enabling works sector, who are looking to bring an Estimator into their team.

This is a great opportunity for an Estimator who knows their way around earthworks and civils pricing, enjoys working towards targets and wants to build a long-term career with a business that genuinely invests in its people.

The Role of Estimator

• Pricing and estimating earthworks, civils and enabling works projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements to produce accurate tenders
• Supporting the wider commercial team and contributing to successful project wins

What We're Looking For in our Estimator

• 3+ years' experience in estimating, ideally within earthworks, civils, enabling works or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of pricing and tendering, with demolition experience a bonus rather than a necessity
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint; MS Project and experience using AI tools would also be advantageous
