Job summary

Kenna Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join a leading workplace interiors and fit-out business in Greater London. You will prepare detailed estimates and tenders for commercial fit-out projects, analysing subcontractor quotations and pricing while supporting negotiations with clients and suppliers.

You’ll collaborate with pre-construction, design and commercial teams, identify risks and value engineering opportunities, and help develop estimating processes to drive

• Solid estimating experience within commercial fit-out/interiors/construction.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials; experience with subcontractor packages.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join a highly respected workplace interiors and fit-out business.

We’re working with an established and growing specialist contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and workplace projects for a range of leading clients. With a record breaking year on the cards for them and a turnover c£250million this is the great time to join their pre construction team as they go onto their next phase of company growth.

As the business continues to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join the team and play a key role in securing new projects and supporting the company’s continued success.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, commercially competitive tenders across a variety of workplace and commercial fit-out projects, working closely with the pre-construction, design and commercial teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed estimates and tenders from drawings, specifications and schedules
• Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Carrying out detailed take-offs and pricing
• Identifying project risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting tender negotiations and presentations
• Working closely with the wider pre-construction and delivery teams
• Contributing to the continued development of estimating processes and best practice

We’re looking for someone with solid estimating experience within the commercial fit-out, interiors or construction sector.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience estimating commercial fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and subcontractor packages
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Strong IT and estimating software skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work to deadlines
