Job summary

365 Recruit is working with a well-established contractor delivering refurbishment, retrofit and construction projects across the region. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team and help secure new business in a fast-paced environment.

You will review tender documentation, specifications and drawings; prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions; obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers; carry out take-offs and quantity

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Experience pricing refurbishment, retrofit or social housing projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience using estimating software.
