Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Estimator for its pre-construction team in London. You will prepare cost estimates and competitive tenders for stonework, joinery and specialist finishes on prestigious commercial, residential and hospitality projects.

Focus on reviewing drawings, take-offs, supplier quotes and value engineering while liaising with clients and architects to ensure accurate submissions and smooth handover to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within construction, fit-out or specialist subcontracting.
• Proven experience estimating both joinery and stonework packages is essential.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of construction methods, procurement and pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
