Job summary

Falcon Green in Birmingham is seeking an Estimator to join the pre-construction team. Based in our Birmingham office, you will help prepare cost estimates and tender submissions, and support the bid process for multiple projects.

You will review drawings and specifications, obtain subcontractor quotes, produce cost plans, identify risks, and explore value engineering opportunities while liaising with the supply chain and design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimator in the construction industry.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, costs and tendering processes.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage tenders and work to deadlines.

An established Main Contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join their pre-construction team based out of their Birmingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with main contracting experience to join a business looking to strengthen its pre-construction function.

The Role

As Estimator, you will be involved throughout the tender process, working alongside the wider pre-construction, commercial and operational teams to produce competitive and accurate tenders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
