Job summary

Enginuity Recruitment represents a long-established passive fire contractor recruiting an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team from their Essex office. The role involves taking responsibility for tenders, cost plans and ensuring competitive, compliant submissions across fire stopping, fire doors and intumescent coatings.

The successful candidate will have extensive passive fire protection estimating experience and a proven track record in mentoring estimators, with strong client-facing

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating experience within passive fire protection.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire stopping and fire doors.
• Experience leading and mentoring Estimators.
• Ability to price commercial projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the estimating team.
• Oversee tender pipeline and allocate opportunities.
• Manage tenders from enquiry through submission.
• Review and sign off estimates prior to submission.
• Produce estimates across fire stopping, fire doors and intumescent coatings.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout tendering.
• Support client meetings and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Contracts and Operational teams for handover.
