Serco Limited in Swindon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a programme of Mechanical and Electrical projects within the Defence Academy estates. You will drive delivery from feasibility to post-occupancy, ensuring governance, safety, and cost control across multiple site works.

The role requires building services experience, strong organising and communication skills, and proficiency with CAFM, SharePoint, Teams and Office tools. It is a permanent, full-time on-site position.

Formación

• ONC/HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Experience managing Building Engineering Services projects, ideally with contractor-side understanding.
• A health, safety and environment qualification (SMSTS or IOSH) is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong IT capabilities.
• Experience supervising project teams, managing KPIs, costs, planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading complex FM estates projects and knowledge of standards like SFG20 and BSRIA.

Responsabilidades

• Work with customers to understand requirements and translate them into statements of need.
• Manage PPM and reactive subcontractor activities, variations and asset replacement projects.
• Update CAFM Explorer data and keep task and documentation records accurate.
• Maintain project information across variations, cost tracking, and SharePoint/Technical Library.
• Deliver projects from feasibility through post-occupancy following governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with MOD processes, building standards and Serco requirements.
• Follow procurement processes and manage contract administration and cost control.
• Uphold EH&S and CDM 2015 standards and contractor controls.
• Carry out site quality audits and ensure safe working practices.
• Lead project meetings and collaborate to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
