Job summary

Countess of Chester Hospital is inviting applications for a full-time Estates Management role, focused on delivering a planned, coordinated maintenance service across a complex estate. You will support the Trust’s objectives, manage mechanical engineering systems, and work with external contractors to keep facilities safe and well-maintained.

The post requires building services/mechanical trade background and a flexible approach to duties across the Estates Department.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services/mechanical engineering is desirable.
• Ability to manage planned and reactive maintenance.
• Experience coordinating with external contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering systems and maintenance activities.
• Plan works, order materials, and liaise with suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and NHS guidance.
• Develop and maintain documentation and logs for mechanical services.
