About The Opportunity

Working within the BKUK Property team, this role will support the Head of Property in executing the UK property strategy. It is a key part of the team, overseeing estate management activities across approximately 300 restaurants. BKUK, as Master Franchise for Burger King in the UK, is expanding its estate through site acquisition and managing a significant program of investment and refurbishment nationwide. The team also supports business projects and estate management actions to maximize profitability through occupancy cost management, relocations, and brand consolidation.

What You'll Do

Oversee ongoing property matters and support key stakeholders, including:

• Assisting with property transactions (lease renewals, rent reviews, disposals) from start to finish.
• Preparing property-related meeting materials and reports, and maintaining tenancy documentation with external consultants.
• Managing occupancy costs in collaboration with external agents, solicitors, and the finance team.
• Building relationships with external parties (managing agents, legal firms, surveyors, landlords) to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborating with Construction and FM teams to support property management and legal issues.
• Working with Operations and Marketing teams on initiatives to optimize restaurant performance.
• Providing market analysis and insights for decision-making, utilizing third-party tools.
• Supporting franchise activity (openings, closures, remodels) with reporting.
• Managing trading licenses across the estate.
• Arranging inspections and overseeing a small sub-tenant portfolio.
• Supporting the delivery of the property strategy in coordination with the wider team.

What you'll have

• At least 3 years’ experience in retail/leisure property, working for a retailer, landlord, or agency.
• Knowledge of the UK property market and retail formats.
• Proactive collaborator with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strategic thinker focused on long-term solutions.
• Ability to attend the London Head Office weekly and visit restaurants as needed.
• Experience with facility operations systems and industry trends.
