This role supports the Head of Estates in maximizing profitability and minimizing expenditure through effective management of A S Watson’s store estate, including Savers, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop, and Three, along with future acquisitions.

A Typical Day in This Role Includes:

• Assisting the Head of Estates in leading the Estate Management Team, with direct line management of Regional Estate Managers (REMs).
• Working with the Head of Estates to define, communicate, and implement property strategies for designated brands, providing guidance to REMs.
• Motivating, inspiring, managing, and developing the team, including overseeing their PDRs.
• Overseeing achievement of estate management objectives.
• Presenting property lease opportunities to the UK Board and supporting business cases for acquisitions and projects.
• Collaborating with other SREMs to align cross-brand strategies.
• Managing external agents and solicitors.
• Ensuring timely rent budgeting and tracking deal progress from proposal to completion, liaising with Finance for approvals and queries.
• Supporting property management and acquisitions teams as needed.
• Ensuring compliance during audits and processing invoices and expenses promptly.

What You’ll Need:

• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with significant post-qualification experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Legislation and retail market trends.
• Ability to travel nationally and experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online/internal databases.

Line management experience is desirable but not essential.
