Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Estates Manager (Operations) to lead day-to-day maintenance operations, assign maintenance work, and oversee the Computer-Aided Facility Management system. You will work with in-house staff and external contractors to deliver reliable estate services, supporting clinical staff and patient care.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Good IT skills and experience with Computer-Aided Facility Management systems.
• Ability to manage in-house maintenance teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dynamic risk assessments.
• Organise and rectify reactive works.
• Manage scheduled work on the K2 system.
• Ensure safe systems of work.
• Maintain, assemble, dismantle and repair equipment used by others.
• Asset capture and review of estate plant.
• Manage in-house workforce and contractors.
• Order parts as required.
