Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Estates Manager (Operations) based at the LGI site in Leeds. The role focuses on managing the estate, ensuring the integrity of mechanical and electrical systems, and providing specialist advice for day-to-day operations.

The post holder will supervise the in-house Estates maintenance team and coordinate specialist contractors, with responsibilities for compliant, value-for-money contracts and oversight of HV, LV, and Medical Gas systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with IT skills.
• Experience supervising in-house estates maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.
• Authorised person for HV/LV and Medical Gas systems; oversight of Lifts, Ventilation and Boilers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estates team and coordinate in-house and contractor work.
• Ensure compliant value-for-money service contracts aligned with SFIs.
• Oversee HV/LV, Medical Gas, Lifts, Ventilation and Boilers responsibilities.
