Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Estates Manager, Operations, to lead a large estates team and coordinate in-house maintenance with external contractors. The role focuses on maintenance planning, day-to-day operation of the CAFM system, and ensuring safe systems of work in line with HTMs.

The successful candidate will work with clinical staff to support patient care, take on a varied role, and undertake Authorised Person duties where required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dynamic risk assessments.
• Organise and rectify reactive works.
• Manage scheduled work on the K2 system.
• Ensure safe systems of work are maintained.
• Oversee safe maintenance, assembly, dismantling and repair of equipment used by others.
• Asset capture & review of estate plant.
• Manage in-house workforce and contractors.
• Order parts as required.
