Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a supervisor for the Estates & Facilities Management team. You will oversee cleaning, catering, portering, goods receiving and linen services, acting as the main FM contact for customers on site.

The role covers a 37.5-hour week on a rota with alternate Saturday shifts. Right to work in the UK is required and a trust vehicle is used for duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management environments.
• Experience handling cleaning, catering and portering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Co-supervise FM services and act as the first point of contact for FM issues.
• Support the management of all FM assistants delivering services.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness following ward schedules and infection control rules.
• Receive, check and distribute deliveries of goods to site.
• Ensure food is served on time and meals are regenerated as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety legislation.
• Provide FM advice and support and deliver cleaning/food prep as required.
• Manage laundry for patient clothing, linen and curtains.
