Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning) to join the in-house FM services. The role operates on Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00–14:00, 12 hours per week, with weekend enhancements.

You will support cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundry activities across wards and facilities, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in patient areas and public spaces.

Responsabilités

• Domestic Service including Rapid Response (CAT)
• To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas.
• Use of colour coded mops, cloths, buckets specific to areas to prevent cross infection
• Report faulty equipment and maintain cleanliness of equipment and storerooms
• Dispose of waste correctly and assist with food services and laundry as required
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks such as transporting items and assisting with ward duties
• Attend to fire calls and assist with safety protocols
• Keep site and car park free of litter and maintain cleanliness of waste areas
