Job summary

Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an FM Assistant (Cleaning) to join the Estates & Facilities Management Team. The role is Band 2 at £12.92 per hour, with a 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday shift.

You will provide in-house facilities cleaning across Trust sites, including wards, retail outlets, and associated areas, contributing to a clean and safe patient environment. You will be expected to interact with patients as part of duties, follow work schedules, and use designated cleaning

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work with patients and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Domestic cleaning in wards/areas according to the work schedule.
• Use colour coded equipment and store safely to prevent cross infection.
• Assist with laundry and meals preparation or service where required.
• Report faults to supervisor and maintain equipment hygiene.
• Keep wards and environments tidy and safe for patients and staff.
