Job summary

Platform Housing Group in Worcester is seeking an Administrator/Coordinator to join the Estates team as an Environmental Coordinator. You will provide administration and co-ordination support to Environmental Caretaking teams and management.

Based in our modern Worcester office near Shrub Hill station with free on-site parking, the role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday). You will liaise with colleagues, contractors and local authorities to ensure services are delivered efficiently

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, databases and compliance documentation.
  • Experience handling customer enquiries and complaints, including investigation and resolution.
  • Understanding of environmental management standards beneficial.
  • Experience in housing/environmental/facilities management desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer support to the Environmental Caretaking Teams and management.
  • Advise customers, resolve queries, manage expectations, and provide proactive solutions.
  • Schedule, route plan and allocate work within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain service records, inspection logs and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email and written correspondence.

Are you a dedicated and organised administrator who takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support?

We are looking for an experienced Administrator/Coordinator to join our growing Estates team as an Environmental Coordinator.

Based in our Worcester office, you will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of high-quality environmental caretaking services. You'll be at the heart of a busy operation, providing essential administration and coordination support to our Environmental Caretaking teams and management.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with colleagues, customers, contractors and local authorities to make sure services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing:

  • An understanding of environmental management standards would be beneficial
  • Experience of providing administrative and coordination support within a housing, environmental or facilities management environment is desirable.
Where you’ll be based:

You’ll be based at our modern Worcester office, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment to work alongside colleagues and be part of our wider Estates team. Our office is conveniently located near Shrub Hill station, making it ideal for commuting by train, and we also offer free on-site parking for those who drive.

The role is full-time, with a working pattern of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel to other offices and locations may be required to attend meetings.
