Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an Electrician Technician to maintain and install electrical systems across multiple facilities, including hospital sites in Stevenage. Qualifications

• Approved apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds certificate in relevant topics.
• Current IEE 18th Edition
• AM2 certificate
• Health and Safety qualification/certification

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on Healthcare Building Services including boilers, sterilizers, washer disinfectors, electrical distribution, motors, heating and ventilation plant and controls, fire and nurse call alarms.
• Order engineering spares, materials and equipment needed to undertake the works.
• Understand the workings of healthcare Building Services and instruct others on maintenance.
• Travel between hospital sites; mileage allowance provided if using own vehicle.
