Northyorks is seeking a Surveying Officer who will work toward the Assessment of Professional Competence to become MRICS. The role covers estate management tasks across North Yorkshire Council’s property estate and supports estate surveyors in Northallerton or nearby offices, with hybrid flexibility.

You will handle rent reviews, valuations, and property queries while developing your knowledge toward professional membership. A hybrid pattern requires two days in the office weekly.

Formación

• Aspiring Chartered Surveyor with post-qualification experience and working towards MRICS.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload under supervision and guidance.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting lower value property management tasks and managing a varied caseload under guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in resolving straightforward technical property queries.
• Carry out rent reviews, lease renewals, valuations, and related professional work.
• Monitor data, records, and expenditure in line with GDPR and NYC info security requirements.
• Collaborate with the property team to ensure lease obligations and asset management plans are delivered.
• Provide general surveying support and occasional site visits.
