Job summary

Sheffield City Council's Housing and Neighbourhoods Service is hiring a Lead Estate Officer to supervise estate services across the city. You'll work within Neighbourhood housing teams, deliver quality housing support, and ensure residents receive courteous, safe services.

The role requires driving, good numeracy and literacy, and IT record-keeping. You will supervise staff, manage PDRs, support with block cleaning, and collaborate with Neighbourhood Officers on walkabouts and daily duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Must hold a current driving licence.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with IT record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of Estate Officer Services within an Area.
• Drive a works vehicle and support with moving machinery and manual handling of bulky items.
• Assist with walkabouts, daily duties and liaise with tenants in a courteous manner.
