Sheffield City Council is seeking a committed Estate Housing Officer to join the Estate Services team in Sheffield. You will act as a key contact for residents and help deliver responsive estate services within your designated area, working with residents, contractors and partner organisations to maintain high-quality estates.

We are looking for a committed and customer-focused Estate Housing Officer to join our Estate Services team.
You will provide an important point of contact for residents and support the effective delivery of estate services within a designated area. Working as part of an Area Team, you will help deliver a responsive service that meets the needs of Sheffield residents.
This is a varied and practical role involving work with residents, colleagues, contractors, partner organisations and local community groups. You will provide a professional, accessible and high-quality service, with a strong emphasis on customer care, consultation and teamwork.
Please note: Occasional attendance at meetings outside normal office hours may be requested, although this is not mandatory.
There are no specified formal qualification requirements. Relevant experience, skills and approach to customer service will be assessed through the application and interview process.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
