Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes is seeking a reliable Concierge Officer to provide a visible, helpful presence across flatted estates. You’ll carry out safety checks, keep communal areas clean, and support residents with day-to-day enquiries to ensure a welcoming, safe environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, independent workload management, and a flexible, proactive attitude to assist vulnerable customers and coordinate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine inspections of communal areas and reporting repairs, hazards and fire safety concerns.
• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas to a high standard.
• Removing hazards and helping estates stay safe and welcoming.
• Clearing refuse chutes and responding to chute blockages.
• Providing a visible, professional and supportive presence for customers.
• Responding to customer enquiries and requests for assistance.
• Supporting vulnerable customers and signposting to relevant services.
• Reporting and monitoring anti-social behaviour and tenancy concerns.
• Working with colleagues and partner organisations to resolve issues for residents.
