Job summary

Encoreestates in Watford is hiring a Day Concierge to deliver outstanding customer service and make residents feel at home. You will greet residents, handle queries and maintenance requests, and manage deliveries while ensuring a safe, welcoming lobby.

The role follows a 4 on 4 off schedule from 7am to 7pm with a £30,000 annual salary. Prior concierge or security experience is valued, and health and safety awareness is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience as concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.
• Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.
• Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring smooth communication and pick-up.
• Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.
• Assist with fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing for safety checks.
• Offer local knowledge and recommendations about the area to enhance residents’ experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.
• Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and escalates concerns as needed.
• Security: Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.
• Parcel Management: Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring a smooth communication and pick up.
• Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.
• Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, Assist with fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing.
• Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.

What You'll Bring:
