Job summary

Delta Housing is seeking an Estate Assistant to deliver high-quality grounds maintenance and estate services across our communities, ensuring environments around homes stay clean, safe and well maintained.

You will build relationships with stakeholders, perform scheduled and responsive grounds work, and maintain external areas while adhering to safety and waste disposal requirements. The role is on-site with a hybrid working policy and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge is essential.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and PPE is required.
• Practical experience with a wide range of powered equipment and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled and responsive grounds-maintenance across communities.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and act as Delta Housing brand ambassador.
• Maintain external communal areas including pathways, car parks and refuse areas.
• Remove waste and refuse, ensuring proper disposal and site compliance.
• Clean and disinfect refuse areas and address pest-related hazards as needed.
