Job summary

Guinness is seeking an Estate Assistant to join our Estates Team in Havant and surrounding areas. You will carry out high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance across varied sites, helping keep outdoor spaces tidy, welcoming and well cared for.

You will be the on-site representative for residents, building positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors, reporting repairs, safeguarding concerns, and ensuring work meets Health & Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering grounds maintenance across various sites and garden types.
• Experience in lawn, shrub and plant care.
• Proven ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks within Health & Safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, COSHH and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance across sites.
• Occasional cleaning of internal communal areas.
• Report responsive repairs, fly-tipping and graffiti when observed.
• Support safeguarding reporting to maintain safe, attractive communities.
