Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting for a Facilities & Estates Supervisor to oversee civil engineering, building and maintenance works across our estate. You will supervise contractors and in-house teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This is a permanent, full-time role with travel between sites. The role includes supervising civil, building fabric, refurbishment and maintenance works; site inspections and audits; coordinating planned and

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil engineering, building or maintenance works.
• Understanding of building regulations and maintenance practices.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and managing permit-to-work systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements including CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors and in-house teams undertaking civil, building fabric, refurbishment and maintenance works.
• Carry out regular site inspections, quality checks and audits to ensure works meet standards.
• Monitor contractor performance against specifications, programmes and service levels.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across the estate and resolve defects.
• Review RAMS, permits to work and other health and safety documentation for CDM compliance.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to coordinate works and minimise disruption.
• Monitor project progress, costs, programmes and risks; provide updates to Senior Contracts Manager.
• Support procurement, tendering and contractor appointments; maintain project records.
