Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting a Building and Civil Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of building, infrastructure and civil engineering projects across our estate. The role runs from initial identification through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality and within budget.

This is a permanent, full-time position with travel between sites as required. You will lead project teams, manage contractor procurement and tendering, and maintain RAMS,

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing building, construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or maintenance projects.
• Ability to manage contractor procurement, budgets and project values in a large estate environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and infrastructure to identify defects and risks.
• Develop scopes of work, drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, including planning, procurement and close-out.
• Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to deliver on time, on budget and to spec.
• Manage tendering processes, submissions and contractor performance.
• Ensure CDM, health and safety requirements and company standards are met.
• Control costs, variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Maintain RAMS, permits, warranties and operation/maintenance records.
