Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an Estate Caretaker for a client in the south of Telford. This temporary, full-time role initially lasts around two months with potential extension, working 37 hours on a 4-week rota across 7 days, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include maintaining the estate to a high standard, cleaning, minor repairs, safety checks, and ensuring spaces are set up for bookings. A driving license and good customer service are desirable.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Experience in customer service environments and delivering quality service.
• Awareness of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain estate to a high standard, keep areas clean and free from rubbish.
• Carry out routine communal services, cleaning, minor repairs, inspections and safety checks.
• Set up and manage community spaces for bookings, including out-of-hours access.
• Act as fire steward where required and report safety concerns promptly.
