Overview

Caretaker role at TieTalent – based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. 37 hours per week or 15 hours per week (2 days). Salary: £24,897 for 37 hours per week / £10,093 for 15 hours per week. We have one full-time and one part-time opportunity available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class caretaking and cleaning service across communal and external areas to keep estates clean, safe, welcoming and well-maintained, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Carry out tasks such as graffiti removal, bulk waste clearance, litter picking, and related cleaning duties.
• Act as a visible and approachable presence on estates, welcoming residents and responding promptly and professionally to requests or concerns.
• Identify and report issues such as fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, repairs, and anti-social behaviour to support swift resolution and a safe environment.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience in a customer-focused role.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow procedures and safe working practices.
• Basic criminal record (DBS) check required; we will pay for this.
