Job summary

Pertemps Telford is recruiting for a full-time Estate Caretaker in Stirchley. The role involves maintaining communal areas, performing cleaning, minor repairs and safety checks, and acting as a key holder for after-hours access. The initial period is temporary, with a view to permanent placement for the right candidate.

You will manage housekeeping, safety checks and basic maintenance across village buildings and community spaces, ensuring high standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy levels.
• Clean, full Driving Licence.
• Experience in customer service and delivering high-quality service.
• Experience in minor repairs, cleaning and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient with IT systems used to deliver services.
• Ability to improve services for residents.
• Knowledge of health and safety policies and COSHH.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up community spaces/buildings for bookings, including opening and closing outside normal hours.
• Act as key holder for after-hours activities, clean and maintain spaces, restock toiletries and manage safekeeping.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards, report concerns.
• Flexibly work evenings and weekends to support service needs.
